Slow?

I got a complain that Streamyx was slow. Hmm...

Nope... Not quite. Thats pretty blistering if u ask me.

Running it thru a bandwith calculator,

Kilobytes: 106.0000
Kilobits: 868352.0000
Megabits: 0.8281

That is too close to the claimed maximum of 1Mbps(Megabits per second). Its 82.81% of the maximum! Thats an A in exams! Woot! =P

New TV!!

29" Pensonic CRT color TV.

Here goes. Call from mom: I won a 29" TV! Wuu.. Really? Its apparently won at Holiday Villa Subang staff party. So the next day she went and took it cos on that day she went back early during the staff party. So its home..


Installed by me...


Impression #1: Its kinda blurry. Wayyyyyy worse than my 21" Phillips. Worse than any other 29" TV i saw. Even the colors looks unnatural... Nvm.. Small issues...


Hmm.. The remote control din work.. Opened it up.. And the capacitor was touching the resistor! O.o

Fixed that. It worked. Set the channels. Then the TV started getting dimmer till the picture eventually disappeared.. Whack it and it comes on again..

So call the Pensonic guy, he changed the IC and it worked! Until...

Why do I hate Windows? Just trying to post this makes me wonder what actually goes on in Microsoft...

So it starts of like this...

As i was reading this,

I got intrigued and clicked on this. The result is the image above. Looks like even Microsoft can't figure out that i'm using Windows XP, their (disastrous) product!!!! Even sitemeter (thats the counter for my blog) can!! How pathetic is that?

So I tot, Hey! Lets post this! So i print screen and pasted it in Microsoft Paint. Edited tho show the red oval and save! Walla! (or so I tot...)

So I started uploading... and uploading... and uploading... Whats wrong? O.o That pathetic program created a dumb .bmp file which is 2.3 Mb huge!!!! Imagine a 1024 x 768 picture being 2.3 Mb!! In case u were wondering, thats 0.8 MP. (They actually went and fully interpolated 1024 x 768 x 3 colors (RGB) and din bother to compress anything) My camera is 6 MP and it makes files smaller than that!! (Its about 2Mb per pic at its highest and 800kb for most of what i shoot) Its unthinkable and only done by the great wonder which is Windows. Of course, I fixed everything with Picasa2. Thank you Google!
